Invenergy To Transfer Ownership Of White Oak Wind Energy Center To NextEra

Invenergy Wind North America has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of NextEra Energy Resources to transfer ownership of its White Oak Wind Energy Center, currently under construction in McLean County, Ill. The transfer is subject to certain conditions, including the completion of construction of the project by Invenergy.

Located near the town of Carlock in the Bloomington-Normal area, White Oak is a 150 MW project with a 20-year power purchase agreement with the Tennessee Valley Authority. Construction of White Oak began in the third quarter of 2010 and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year.
