The Idaho Public Utilities Commission (PUC) has approved a sales agreement between PacifiCorp and the developer of two wind projects near American Falls, Idaho. PacifiCorp does business in eastern Idaho as Rocky Mountain Power.

The two projects, called Power County Wind Park North and Power County Wind Park South, will deliver up to 10 average MW per month. The scheduled online date is Dec. 31, 2011, and the developer is Windland Inc.

The projects qualify for rates posted by the Idaho PUC under the provisions of the federal Public Utilities Regulatory Policies Act.
