Houston-based Horizon Wind Energy LLC, a subsidiary of EDP Renovaveis, hosted a ribbon-cutting celebration at the Lone Star Wind Farm in Texas. The Lone Star Wind Farm has an installed capacity of 400 MW of energy.

Aron, our landowners and the supportive communities in Shackelford and Callahan counties.’
The Lone Star Wind Farm has been in full operation since May. J. Aron, the commodities trading arm of Goldman Sachs, continues to purchase electricity from Phase II of the Lone Star Wind Farm. Direct Energy purchases 200 MW of energy produced by Phase I of the project.
