Fengate Asset Management, investor and developer of the 160 MW Prairie Switch Wind in Wharton County, Texas, has celebrated the project’s completion.
“Fengate invests in high-quality, sustainable projects that are not only good investments, but good for the environment, and good for the communities we serve,” says Fengate’s Greg Calhoun. “The Prairie Switch Wind project is all of those.”
The 48 3.4 MW turbines, supplied by General Electric, were designed to meet the unique weather challenges of the region, adds Fengate.
The company is managing this investment on behalf of the Fengate Infrastructure Fund IV and its affiliated entities, including an investment by the LiUNA Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada.
