Burlington, Vt.-based Heritage Aviation will unveil its new, 79,000 square-foot, fixed-base operation (FBO) at the Burlington International Airport (BTV) during a celebration on May 20.
Heritage Aviation's FBO, designed by TruexCullins, utilizes green technology and eco-friendly material, and is on track to be LEED Silver certified. The facility is partially powered by renewable resources such as wind and solar power. In December 2009, a Northwind 100, 100 kW wind turbine was installed at the facility.
Heritage Aviation caters to transient pilots, their passengers and aircraft owners.
