San Francisco-based Center for Resource Solutions has announced that Enpalo's renewable energy certificate (REC) product, Enpalo U.S. CleanGen, is now Green-e Energy certified. Enpalo, run by a team of Stanford University mathematicians and engineers, assists businesses, institutions and individuals with the evaluation, acquisition and application of voluntary emission reductions and RECs.
Enpalo can now offer its residential, commercial and wholesale customers a product comprising 100% wind RECs sourced from wind farms across the nation. By purchasing the Enpalo U.S. CleanGen product, customers will support currently available renewable resources as well as aid the development of new renewable energy projects in the U.S.
‘The green power market has reached a critical point where businesses and residential customers demand verified quality,’ says Evan Macmillan, product development director for Enpalo. ‘We created Enpalo U.S. CleanGen in response to that need. It is a wind energy product that is thoroughly researched and Green-e Energy certified.’
