Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. (RES Americas) and Flat Water Wind Farm LLC, which is a partnership between Gestamp Wind North America and Banco Santander SA, have completed the Flat Water Wind Project in southern Nebraska's Richardson County and Kansas' Nemaha County.
The 60 MW project consists of 40 1.5 MW GE wind turbines. Substantial completion was reached in November 2010, one month ahead of schedule. RES Americas served as the balance-of-plant construction contractor. Power from the project will be sold to the Omaha Public Power District.
