Gemini Energy Services, an operations and maintenance service provider for wind energy projects, says it has opened a new corporate headquarters in San Diego. The company has begun transitioning its assets to the new office and tool/spare parts facility, and employees have begun reporting to the location.
The new facility features training areas for wind tower safety, as well as proprietary asset tracking software and equipment throughout the climate-controlled storage area.
Gemini has also announced that Bill Jacks has joined the company as director of field operation. He most recently served as director of wind operations at Power Equipment Maintenance, where he helped to create and operate the company's wind energy division. Before that, Jacks held several positions for companies such as UpWind Solutions and Clipper Windpower.
