The construction of the Old Mill Wind Farm in County Monaghan, Ireland, has been completed, and the project is now producing power.
The site comprises six GE 2.85-103 turbines with an installed capacity of 17.1 MW. Natural Power acted as owner’s engineer for the project, which is owned by Belgian company Storm.
“As owner’s engineer on this project, we have worked closely with Storm throughout an extended pre-construction phase and with all stakeholders through a challenging construction phase to successfully reach commercial operations,” notes Natural Power’s David Dunne, construction project manager for the wind farm.
