Gamesa To Supply 300 MW Of Turbine Capacity To CRP

f gte mso 9]> Normal 0 Gamesa has finalized a deal to supply 300 MW of turbine capacity to China Resources New Energy Group (CRP-Renewable), the renewable energy arm of China Resources Power (CRP).

In April, Gamesa signed memoranda of understanding to supply 900 MW to three Chinese companies: Longyuan, Datang and CRP.

Gamesa will deliver 150 of its G90-2.0 MW turbines to CRP in the second half of this year. These turbines will be utilized at six wind farms in the Chinese provinces of Heilongjiang, Shanxi and Guangdong.

CRP-Renewable held stakes in 42 wind farms with a combined installed capacity of 646 MW as of late 2010. The company has 631 MW of wind assets under construction, plus government approval for projects representing another 970 MW.
