Gamesa says it has signed a deal to supply 48 MW of its 2.0 MW wind turbines to China-based Longyuan Group for a wind farm that the utility will build in Jiangkou, Fujian Province, China.
Gamesa will start to deliver 24 sets of G87-2.0 MW Class S and G90-2.0 MW wind turbines beginning this October. The G87-2.0 MW Class S turbine includes improvements designed to accommodate Class I condition sites, the company notes.
Gamesa and Longyuan Group have now collaborated on a total of 1.728 GW of projects.
