Gamesa says it plans to launch a major wind turbine components reconditioning services business.
With this new service – which focuses on gearboxes, generators and blades – Gamesa will upgrade and replace internal turbine parts with up-to-date technologies.
The company's Mega and CMS solutions are designed to help Gamesa anticipate and schedule necessary corrective work during low-wind periods. Customers of Gamesa's operations and maintenance services can track the diagnostics and status of their machines' reconditioning processes, the company adds.
