Gamesa says it has received two contracts for wind farm development in China.
The turbine maker says it will supply 50 MW to Hebei Construction & Investment Group for the Nandianziliang wind complex located in the province of Shanxi, in northern China. The scope of the agreement encompasses the supply, installation and commissioning of 25 Gamesa G97-2.0 MW turbines. The turbines are slated for delivery in May, with commissioning finalized by the third quarter.
The second contract, a 42 MW order with Chinese wind farm developer UPC, includes the supply, installation and commissioning of 21 G97-2.0 MW turbines at the Huangyan wind farm, located in the province of Zhejiang, in eastern China. The turbines are to be delivered in April. Project completion is expected by the third quarter.
