Gamesa Sells Two Greek Wind Farms To Enel


Gamesa says it has sold two wind projects in Greece to Enel Green Power. The 24 MW Zoodochos Pighi project and the 14 MW Panaghia Soumela project are both located in the Macedonia region in the areas of Kozani and Veria, respectively.

The projects, developed and built by Gamesa's wind farm development and sales division, are equipped with 19 Gamesa G87-2.0 MW turbines.

Gamesa currently has 25.5 MW of wind assets under construction in Greece, in addition to a project portfolio totaling 965 MW at varying stages of development, of which nearly half (460 MW) have obtained generation licenses.
