Gamesa has closed the sale of its 86% stake in a 25.5 MW wind farm in Greece to EMV, a Greek subsidiary of Eren.
The Kithaironas wind farm – developed and promoted by Gamesa – is located in Thivas, in the region of Viotia, and comprises 30 Gamesa G52-850 kW wind turbines. Eren was founded by renewable energy entrepreneurs Paris Mouratoglou and David Corchia, respectively former chairman and CEO of EDF Energies Nouvelles.
