Gamesa says it has been awarded a contract to perform the operations and maintenance (O&M) services at 13 wind farms owned by EDP Renewables.
The sites have a combined capacity of 400 MW and are located in several European countries, primarily in France, Spain and Portugal. Gamesa will perform the maintenance services for a three-year period – which may be extended for an additional three years – on 402 of Gamesa's 850 kW turbines and 29 of its 2.0 MW machines. Gamesa will also provide technical assistance for 179 of its 660 kW turbines.
