Gamesa Agrees To Sell Polish Wind Farm To RWE Innogy

Gamesa has signed an agreement with RWE Renewables Polska, the Polish subsidiary of German energy company RWE Innogy GmbH, to sell the 14 MW Krzecin wind farm located in northeast Poland.

The wind farm, which was developed and built by Gamesa, features seven of its G90 2 MW wind turbines.

Having sold RWE Innogy a 32 MW wind farm in Poland in 2011, Gamesa notes the agreement is the second reached between the two companies.

Gamesa says its sale of the Eastern European assets underscores its strength in the region – where it manages a portfolio of 2.5 GW.
