FT Technologies, a supplier of anemometry products for wind turbine control, says it has opened a new office in Austin, Texas – the company's first in North America.
According to FT Technologies, not only does Texas have a significant installed base of wind sensors, but the company sees growth potential for U.S. and Canadian customers.
Founded in the U.K. in 1981, FT Technologies says it supplies anemometry products for wind turbine control to 12 out of the top 15 turbine manufacturers.
