FoundOcean says it has been awarded a foundation-grouting contract by RWE Innogy for the Nordsee Ost offshore wind farm, to be located in German waters.
The 295 MW wind farm will be installed in water depths ranging from 22 meters to 25 meters. The 49 four-legged jacket foundations (48 turbine and one transformer substation) will be grouted to the seabed using BASF's Exagrout Masterflow 9500 cement-based grout.
