E.ON Climate & Renewables (EC&R) North America has erected the first turbine at the Settlers Trail Wind Farm, located in Iroquois County, Ill. The project is expected to be in service by the end of the year.
The turbines were manufactured by GE, and construction is being done by White Construction. The 94 1.6 MW turbines will provide more than 150 MW of power to central Illinois.
