Firm Expands Energy And Environment Practice

NSI, a Washington, D.C.-based government and business consulting firm, has announced the expansion of its energy and environment practice. Managing director Terry Tamminen and senior advisor Bonnie Reiss join vice president Kevin Matthews as part of the leadership team.

Tamminen was the secretary of the California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 2003 and served as the chief policy advisor to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, R-Calif. Tamminen continues to advise Schwarzenegger and several other U.S. governors on climate and energy.


Reiss served as senior advisor to Schwarzenegger from 2003-2007 and was the governor's point person on education, environment, women's issues, public safety and children's health. She was also involved in passing progressive environment and energy laws in California.

Matthews was director of government relations for AIG Environmental and held multiple positions with the U.S. EPA in Washington D.C.
