The last three public hearings for the Cape Wind offshore wind project have been scheduled.
The hearings will focus on NSTAR's contract to purchase 27.5% of Cape Wind's power. In 2010, the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities approved National Grid's contract to purchase 50% of Cape Wind's power.
The hearings will be held in the following locations:
- Natick Town Hall, 13 East Central St., Natick, Mass., on May 22 at 7:00 p.m.;
- Barnstable High School, Barnstable, Mass., 744 West Main St., Hyannis, Mass., on May 23 at 7:00 p.m.; and
- The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities, 1 South Station, Boston, Mass., on May 30 at 7 p.m.
