The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit heard arguments in GE's patent dispute against Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. (MHI) for certain wind turbine technologies that GE alleges MHI has infringed.
GE spokesperson Dan Nelson released the following statement:
‘Today's hearing was about one issue – the protection of GE's intellectual property. Strong intellectual property rights promote investment, foster innovation and encourage commercial deployment of technology. We believe in the merits of our case against MHI, and we will continue to protect our intellectual property in the U.S. and around the world.’
