The Cape Cod Times reported that Falmouth, Mass., voters rejected a question on Tuesday's ballot that would have funded the removal of two community-owned 1.65 MW wind turbines that are located at the town's wastewater treatment facility.
According to the paper, the provision would have authorized the decommissioning, dismantling and removal of the two turbines, as well as the repayment of grants, prepaid renewable energy credits and other costs associated with removal.
