Seattle-based Wild Brush Energy has signed a letter of intent with wind turbine manufacturer WinWinD Oy of Finland. This agreement outlines WinWinD's commitment to supplying Wild Brush Energy with up to $200 million in wind turbines.
Wild Brush Energy's project capacity is expected to be up to 120 MW and cost upwards of $270 million in development expenditures. Wind turbines supplied by WinWinD would cost approximately $200 million to $240 million.
Once completed, this wind farm is expected to supply upwards of 290,000 MWh of electricity annually. Total gross electric sales over a 20-year period are estimated at over $740 million for a project this size.
WinWinD Oy supplies markets in the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
