To reflect its expanding presence in the U.S. wind market, Canadian-based independent service provider Eon WindElectric will become One Wind.
In conjunction with its re-branding, the Halifax, Nova Scotia-based company also announced that it recently won a contract to service a 165 MW wind farm, located in south Texas. One Wind will supply engineers and technicians for construction quality control and commissioning of the wind farm, according to Paul Pynn, president of the company.
‘We are pleased to expand our presence in the U.S. wind energy market and open an office in Texas to support our growing team there,’ Pynn says.Â
