enXco Service Corp. (eSC), the U.S. subsidiary of EDF-Energies Nouvelles, has signed a five-year operations and services agreement with Cedar Creek Wind Energy LLC for 53 GE turbines. These turbines make up 79.5 MW of the 300 MW wind energy project currently being developed and built by Babcock & Brown in Weld County, Colorado, enXco says.
‘enXco has been closely involved in the start-up of many similar projects, and we fully expect that we can immediately step in and provide cost-effective and efficient service, while also maintaining the highest safety and quality standards that our customers have come to expect from eSC,’ says Larry Barr, vice president of operations and maintenance at enXco.
