enXco Service Corp. (eSC), an EDF Energies Nouvelles company, has signed an operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement with Macho Springs Power I LLC to provide services for the 50 MW Macho Springs wind project.
The project, owned by Element Power, is located in Luna County, N.M. Construction on the project, which consists of 28 Vestas V100-1.8 MW turbines, began in January and is expected to be completed in August.
Under the terms of the agreement, eSC will provide project oversight, on-site O&M for the balance of plant, and 24/7 remote monitoring from its North American Electric Reliability Corp.-compliant operations control center during the period of the turbine warranty. Post-warranty, eSC will provide complete O&M services to the entire project.
