Orchard Park, N.Y.-based Engineered Lifting Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of the Hanes Supply Group, has been selected to be the provider of choice by Gemma Renewable Power LLC, a division of Argon Inc., to supply the tower rigging equipment both for staging and erecting at the Grand Ridge II Wind farm in LaSalle County, Ill.
Gemma intends to take advantage of the patent-pending design of the lightweight and simple tower erection systems. It also selected Engineered Lifting Technologies to provide the staging rigging. Gemma intends to begin installation in December.
