Enel Green Power North America Inc. (EGP) has purchased a 51% stake in the Rocky Ridge wind project, located in Oklahoma. Construction is expected to start in the fall.

The project was developed by EGP's development partner TradeWind Energy (TWE) and has a power purchase agreement with the Western Farmers Electric Cooperative. This will be EGP's first project to be constructed in Oklahoma. The new wind farm's total installed capacity is approximately 150 MW.

This is the fourth wind project that EGP and TWE have worked on together through the partnership launched by the two companies in 2006.
