Enel Green Power has grid-connected its 99 MW Taltal wind project, the company's largest wind farm in Chile.
Located in the Taltal district, the wind farm features 33 3-MW turbines. Enel says construction involved a total investment of around $190 million.
The project is supported by a 20-year power purchase agreement, and its output will be delivered to Chile's Central Region Transmission Network.
In Chile, Enel Green Power operates the Talinay Oriente and Valle de los Vientos wind farms, each with 90 MW of installed capacity, and is currently completing construction on the 61 MW Talinay Poniente wind farm.
