EDP Renovaveis S.A. (EDPR) has signed an agreement with Fiera Axium Infrastructure US LP, a portfolio management firm, to sell a 49% equity interest in the 97 MW Wheat Field wind farm.
The Oregon project, which comprises 46 Suzlon S88 2.1 MW wind turbines, entered commercial operation in April 2009 and is fully contracted under a 20-year power
purchase agreement with the Snohomish County Public Utility District.
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals, and the total implied asset value amounts to $197 million. Morrison & Foerster is representing Fiera Axium.
