EDF’s Global O&M Portfolio Nears 11 GW

EDF Energies Nouvelles says its operations and maintenance (O&M) portfolio has grown 20% globally this year, thanks to several new agreements for wind and solar power projects.

During 2014, the total capacity to be managed by EDF increased from 9.1 GW to almost 11 GW in nine countries.

EDF EN Services, a subsidiary devoted to O&M in Europe, is now established in Italy and covering 599 MW worth of new assets, mainly wind farms. The subsidiary's footprint also includes France, Greece, the U.K., Germany and Poland. Altogether, EDF EN Services now has an O&M portfolio of 2.4 GW.


EDF Renewable Services, the EDF Energies Nouvelles subsidiary devoted to O&M in North America, also grew its portfolio in 2014. The company recently noted 588 MW worth of new wind and solar agreements in Canada, and it also locked in 656 MW worth of new agreements in the U.S.

Today, EDF Renewable Services has over 8.5 GW in O&M contracts.
