REpower Systems AG has received an order for the delivery of 100 MM92 wind turbines for the U.S. from enXco, a subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles. The delivery of equipment for the two planned wind farms in Washington is to begin in the second quarter of 2009, and completion is scheduled for the end of 2009. The rotor blades will be produced in North America, Repower says.

These projects are part of an intercontinental delivery agreement that REpower concluded with EDF Energies Nouvelles in December of last year. The agreement involves the delivery of wind turbines with a total power of up to 690 MW for various projects in Europe and the U.S.
