Freeport, Ill.-based EcoEnergy, an alternative energy solutions developer, recently opened its Madison, Wis., office with an open house attended by community leaders and wind energy industry experts.
EcoEnergy currently is developing more than 20 wind energy facilities across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois. Maps and studies for the company's EcoDane project in Dane County were exhibited at the open house.
The new building, as well as EcoEnergy's office suite, was built with reclaimed wood and other found materials, which reflects EcoEnergy's commitment to preserving the environment, according to the company.
‘The residents of Wisconsin place an extremely high value on the environment, as do all of us at EcoEnergy,’ says Shawn Gaffney, president of EcoEnergy. ‘We're working with these same people – citizens who are concerned about our ecological future – to bring clean, green energy to Wisconsin.’
