Duke Energy Renewable Services was recently awarded the operational excellence award by Wind Energy Update at its eighth annual Wind O&M Conference in Dallas.
The award recognizes companies that exhibit outstanding performance across the operations and maintenance sector, are thought leaders in the field and helped drive the industry forward over the past 12 months.
“Being recognized for our role as a thought leader in the industry is very gratifying, and I’m proud of the 300 men and women on our team who work tirelessly to ensure safe and efficient operations for our customers every day,” says Don Gibson, business development manager for Duke Energy Renewable Services.
Duke Energy Renewable Services, an organization originating from Duke Energy’s 2012 acquisition of Minnesota-based Outland Energy Services, provides services in 14 states, where it operates and maintains more than 3 GW of renewable assets.
According to Duke Energy, slightly more than half of the 3 GW is for third-party clients.
