CWind, a service provider for the offshore wind industry, has announced that it won an operations and maintenance (O&M) contract from E.ON to undertake the annual inspection and repair services required at the 219 MW Humber Gateway offshore wind farm (OWF), located 8 kilometers off the Holderness coast.
According to CWind, the scope of work covers latchways, mechanical services and paint works for all 73 turbines and the offshore substation. Offshore work is scheduled to commence this June, with CWind utilizing its office in Grimsby’s Fishdock.
“We look forward to working with E.ON to successfully deliver a safe and well-maintained asset, building on our successful history of delivery at Humber Gateway OWF, which we have supported through a range of services since 2013,” says Lee Andrews, managing director of CWind.
