CREED To Help Cleantech Start-Ups With Market Strategies

0

The Colorado Center for Renewable Energy Economic Development (CREED) at the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is hosting a class to help cleantech entrepreneurs analyze primary and secondary markets, as well as to teach them how to build and use market strategies.

Speakers include Sandy Butterfield and Tim Connor, CEO and chief financial officer, respectively, of Boulder WindPower. The event takes place Aug. 25 in Golden, Colo.

‘The space between being a cleantech entrepreneur and having a full-fledged company is full of both opportunities and pitfalls,’ says Richard Adams, NREL's manager for innovation and entrepreneurship. ‘CREED's Entrepreneur Series helps bridge those gaps and provides support for companies trying to get off the ground.’

CREED is a collaborative partnership between NREL and the State of Colorado that aims to expand cleantech entrepreneurship in the state.
