A Connecticut superior court has ruled in favor of a 9.6 MW wind farm proposed by developer BNE Energy for the town of Colebrook, Boston.com reports.
The project has faced significant opposition from local residents, who say the wind farm will have adverse noise and environmental impacts. Despite the opposition, the Connecticut Siting Council approved the project in June 2011.
However, the project still awaits a permit from the Army Corps of Engineers.
