U.K.-based Pelagian and Boston-based Pioneer Consulting have established P2 Offshore Consulting, a new joint venture (JV) focused on providing marine consulting and management services to U.S. offshore renewable energy projects.
Peter Fisk, managing director of Pelagian and a co-owner of the new company, says the U.S.' emerging offshore wind farm market represents an attractive opportunity for the collaboration. Howard Kidorf, managing partner at Pioneer Consulting and also a co-owner of the JV, adds, ‘The experience contained within our JV will help developers, balance-of-plant suppliers and marine contractors reduce project risk and contribute to the speedy development of this new sector.’
