Baltimore-based Constellation NewEnergy, a subsidiary of Constellation Energy, has agreed to supply 250,000 kWh of Green-e certified renewable energy certificates (RECs) to match 100% of the electricity usage during the Sustainable Brands '07 Conference in New Orleans.
The RECs have been secured for the duration of the three-day conference, Constellation NewEnergy says.
Sustainable Brands '07 brings together Fortune 500 companies and business leaders to discuss the development of environmentally friendly and socially responsible products and solutions, according to Vikoren Skrzyniarz, president and CEO of Sustainable Life Media.
