The Connecticut Siting Council has approved a wind project proposed for Colebrook, Conn., the Register Citizen reports. The council approved the petition by a 6-1-2 vote. Two members of the council recused themselves, and one member voted against the proposal.
BNE Energy wants to build two separate wind projects in Colebrook with a combined capacity of approximately 9 MW. A similar project proposed for Prospect was rejected by the council earlier this year.
