Denver-based Companies West Group Inc., a renewable energy investment firm, has made an initial investment in Welwind Energy International Corp., a company that builds, owns and operates wind farms on an international scale.
Welwind's goal is to become a leading provider of clean energy products for residential, business and governmental customers. The growing demand for renewable energy has created enormous opportunity for companies in the alternative energy emerging market, according to the company, adding that it intends to identify additional alliances in this sector to expand the company's business holdings. Welwind says it will provide further details of these alliances as opportunities present themselves.
