Power Climber Wind has completed the installation of 66 of its IBEX 1000P climb-assist systems at the Erie Shore Wind Farm, located near Port Burwell, Ontario, and owned by Capstone Infrastructure.
The system's portable control box weighs only 8.5 pounds, and the company's EasyClimb Controller allows users to customize assistance from 50 pounds (25 kg) to 125 pounds (55 kg) and have load support, regardless of climbing speed in both up and down directions. The system is designed to be installed in any wind turbine tower.
