China's Ministry of Commerce says that U.S. subsidies to six renewable energy projects violate World Trade Organization free-trade rules, the Associated Press reports.
According to the AP report, the projects include wind, solar and hydro facilities in Washington, Massachusetts, Ohio, New Jersey and California.
The ministry's reaction comes just a week after the U.S. Department of Commerce announced it would impose significant tariffs on Chinese PV cells and solar modules imported into the U.S.
