Central Hudson Enterprises Corp., a subsidiary of CH Energy Group Inc., has sold the Shirley wind farm to DEGS Wind I LLC, a subsidiary of Duke Energy Corp. The project, which is located in Glenmore, Wis., was first acquired by CH Energy Group in 2009.
‘Proceeds available to CH Energy Group from this sale are anticipated to repay approximately $20 million in outstanding CH Energy Group debt and repurchase common stock,’ says Steven V. Lant, CH Energy Group's chair, president and CEO.
Morrison & Foerster served as legal counsel, and Marathon Capital served as financial adviser to CH Energy Group.
