CCI/Ryan, a partnership between Carstensen Contracting Inc. and Ryan Companies US Inc., has been selected as the balance-of-plant (BOP) contractor for the Adams Wind Generations project, located near Cosmos, Minn. The 20 MW wind farm will include 12 Alstom turbines, each with a generating capacity of 1.67 MW.
The CCI/Ryan team is responsible for the construction of roads and foundations, installation of the collection system and erection of the turbines. The project began in late 2010 and is expected to be completed later this month.
