Catch the Wind Ltd. has sold a Vindicator laser wind sensor (LWS) unit to the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). IIT will install the unit on its GE 1.5 MW test turbine, which is operated by an affiliate of Invenergy LLC.
‘We continued to develop momentum and look forward to working with the Illinois Institute of Technology as part of their research activities,’ says Phil Rogers, president and CEO of Catch the Wind.
Financial terms of the sales agreement were not disclosed.
