Castrol Industrial, a provider of lubricants for the wind energy market, says it has signed an agreement to supply its synthetic lubricants to Vestas.
Following a three-year trial, Castrol Industrial's Optigear Synthetic CT will be listed by Vestas as an approved lubricant. Under the agreement, Vestas' customers can use this gear oil for service fills.
Castrol Industrial has more than 25 years of experience in the wind energy market,
and its lubricants were used in the world's first wind energy projects in the early 1980s.
