Western Wind Energy Corp. says that its 30 MW Mesa Wind Farm, located near Palm Springs, Calif., has executed a new power purchase agreement (PPA) with a major California utility.
Terms of the deal are confidential, but the company says the price will double the revenues received from Mesa. The new PPA also covers the existing equipment and is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
